Steve Anderson
Partner
Steve brings decades of experience in accounting, having begun his career at 16 with a local Chartered Accountants firm. He honed his skills in industry roles, including Financial Controller at a Lloyd’s-based loss adjuster and Finance Director at a large IT distribution company, gaining hands-on expertise in business operations. In 2005, Steve returned to practice, leading a busy Management Accounting department for a London-based firm, working extensively with FCA-regulated and international businesses. In 2009, he founded SJAS, driving its continued growth and success. A spreadsheet and accounting systems expert, Steve is equally passionate about IT and classic cars, particularly his cherished Land Rover Defender 90, which he enjoys maintaining and driving through North Norfolk’s countryside.
Steve Charlton

A Chartered Accountant with over 35 years of senior financial management and Board-level experience, Steve has a proven track record in both listed and regulated environments. Recently serving as CFO and CEO at PEAC Finance (2016–2022), he oversaw operations across eight countries, managing €4 billion in assets and over 400 employees. Previously, as Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group (2004–2014), Steve held CFO and CEO roles at listed affiliates Gagfah S.A. and Eurocastle Investment Limited, leading debt financing and refinancing transactions exceeding €10 billion. He specializes in equity and debt fundraising in public and private markets.
Christopher Finch

With over 30 years of experience in fund management and product development, Christopher specialises in strategic investment and corporate governance. As the founder of Host Capital’s ACD business in 2004, he grew the firm’s assets under management from inception to over £2 billion before its successful acquisition by a leading fund governance manager in 2020. Previously, he led Pensions Product Development at HSBC Asset Management for a decade. Over his career, Christopher has launched more than 110 investment funds managing assets exceeding £6 billion, spanning diverse vehicles including private equity, real estate, and listed funds. Christopher holds an MBA from LSE, is a member of the Securities Institute, and an Associate of the Society of Financial Advisers.
Trevor Green
Partner
Trevor Green is a highly experienced UK equities specialist with over 30 years in fund management. Most recently Head of UK Equities at Aviva Investors (2011–2025), he led a team of fund managers and analysts overseeing assets peaking at £12 billion, while managing key client relationships with Aviva Group and driving strong investment performance across market cycles. He has deep expertise in ESG integration and has engaged extensively with FTSE 100 leadership on strategy and capital allocation. Earlier in his career, Trevor held senior roles at Henderson Group, New Star Asset Management, RCM (UK) Ltd, and Credit Suisse Asset Management, managing a range of retail and institutional funds, having begun his career at Capel Cure Myers. He holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Robert Gordon University and is a Securities Institute Diploma holder, receiving a Reuters Award for academic distinction.
John Reynolds

With over 40 years of experience in investment strategy, asset management, and advisory, John is a seasoned investor, founder, and board director. He co-founded Alpha Beta Partners in 2018, serving as Chair until its acquisition by Tavistock Plc in 2025, during which he helped grow assets under management to £3 billion. Earlier, he held senior research roles at NatWest Markets and ING Barings, earning top Extel rankings, before leading institutional business at Deutsche Bank and ABN AMRO. As Chief Investment Officer at Capita Financial Group, he oversaw £23 billion in assets. In recent years, John has invested in and advised a range of technology-led businesses, including PayDashboard (sold to Experian), Recyber, CapRelease and VirtuSign, which he co-founded in 2023. He holds an MSc in Economics with Distinction from London University and recently completed the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme.
Rob Anderson
Senior Management Accountant
Rob began his accountancy career in 2003 with a family-run firm, progressing from VAT returns and client record management to junior auditing and preparing SME financial statements. During his eight years there, he earned his MAAT qualification. In 2012, Rob joined his brother Steve at SJ Accounts Solutions, where he has specialised in Management Accounting and Financial Control, focusing on clients in the Financial Services industry. Outside of work, Rob enjoys time with his family, playing golf, and cheering on West Ham.
